My Easter Holiday with Zoe

Yay, I’m going to go to Zoe’s house for the holidays! I met Zoe’s cousins Hamish and Elliot who were staying for the holiday. They were very nice.

My first day with Zoe we zoomed out to Haulashore Island and had an Easter egg hunt. We found lots of delicious Easter eggs . After that we went out to the lighthouse. I was amazed that it looked so tall because it looks small from Zoe’s window. I loved climbing to the top of the winding staircase. I had a good first day and a lovely sleep.

The next few days we hung out with Hamish and Elliot. But on Tuesday, Zoe grabbed my hand and put me in the car, I knew we were going somewhere. Soon we were at a Kaiteriteri beach and a water taxi was waiting for us. We were off to Torrent Bay. It was a pretty amazing place. I was impressed with the bright orange sand. The next day we went for a long walk to a waterfall, I don’t think I’ve seen a waterfall like this one. After that, I was very tired. I sunbathed on the beach while Zoe was kayaking. We went on another long walk but this time we went over a swingbridge. And then home on the water taxi.

A few days after that we watched “How to train your dragon” in real 3D. It came right at me! I fell asleep for a little bit but Zoe thought it was amazing.

The next day we went for a swim. Theo let me borrow his togs.

On Sunday we got ready for school. I had a great time and Zoe did too. I was thinking that this was the best holiday this year.

My Weekend at Jonny's

On the weekend I went to Jonny's house. His dad took Jonny and I to the speedway. We watched super saloons, street cars, motorbike and side cars and demolition derby. It is the first time I have ever seen racing cars.
We took some photos and they are on display outside Room 5.
It was so cool!!

In the weekends I had a sleepover at Viv's house.She washed me two times, once in the washing machine and once in the bucket. Also she sewed my leg up. Now I am nice and clean and ready to go back to school.

Motor biking with Alex

This is my very first posting on my own blog so it's exciting. Last weekend I went to Alex's for a sleepover. On Sunday, Alex took me to races at the motorbike track. I was allowed to sit on Alex's bike but I don't have a helmet so I wasn't allowed to go for a ride. I watched Alex ride on his blue motorbike. Alex wears special black and red motor bike gear so it protects him. Alex and his brother jump over dirt jumps and fly through the air on their motorbikes. It was scary but exciting or me to watch. I wonder where I'll go for my next sleepover.
